UltraViolet formed in Pensacola, Florida in the Summer of 1992. The rock band’s members are Deborah Barnes - lead vocalist, keyboardist and guitarist; Lisa Hornbrook - guitarist; Cindy Symington - bassist; and Diana Bailey - drummer. UltraViolet has performed at a wide variety of locations and special events in the Gulf Coast area, participating in the same musical celebrations or sharing the same stages with popular national acts such as Collective Soul, Tonic, Joan Jett, Hootie and the Blowfish, and Brother Cane, as well as classic artists; Three Dog Night; Blood, Sweat and Tears; Steppenwolf; Jefferson Starship; Marshall Tucker; Little River Band; and Foreigner. The band’s originals have been described as very compelling and diverse, yet distinct from its influences, and as rock of the millennium. The band also plays tributes to great artists, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, Heart, Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, Aerosmith, and Iron Maiden as well as current rock favorites.
